Eat Feed Me

I've been consumed with work over the last month, so until I can get a new post up, I'd like to do a quicky plug and review for one of my favorite new (to me) foodie sites...
The internet is breaking down the doors to publishing for people of all walks. My blog allows me to publish articles and ideas quickly and easily. Similarly, podcasting allows creative types the means to host their own radio programs over the internet.
EatFeed.com is a podcasting site that hosts a weekly program on cooking, food history, travel and cuisine. The podcast is extremely professional, with awesome guests and interesting subjects. Think NPR, except the stories are less "Observing the pigmys of New Guinea" and more "Eating the piggies of New England".
Fortunately for me, the podcasts are released as an MP3 (not in I-Tunes), so I can copy them to a CD and listen to them in my car. If you'd like a suggestion, I'd listen to Revolutionary Taste. It's my favorite so far.

Just FYI: you can burn AACs or whatever other format to CDs also (not just MP3s). Itunes will also convert AACs to MP3s or vice versa, if you prefer (or need it) in one format over another (my tivo only plays MP3s, for example, so although I have a mac and itunes, I changed all the files in itunes to MP3s vs. AACs so my tivo could play them). But yeah, if you find a podcast that downloads as an AAC, there's no reason you can't convert that to whatever you want, to play as a CD or in whatever MP3 player you may have.
